if ted koppel is billed as a news analyst (in press releases and on air) - as juan williams was - then ted koppel shouldn't be offering minority views (such as that the u.s. needs to stay in iraq for years and years to come).
if juan gets in trouble for a 'controversial' opinion, i'd argue that wanting to continue the iraq war when so many americans are against it is controversial as well.
and why are we supposed to save npr when, as ava and c.i. illustrate, npr is still not bringing on the voices of peace. they bring on a journalist and they bring on war hawks - happened last week on both the diane rehm show and talk of the nation - and we're supposed to be thrilled with that on the left?
