so we had thai tonight.
i went with the see 'ew noodles. they're like the see-through noodles that used to be offered.
these are flat rice noodles. they stir fry them with vegetables including broccoli and carrots. flyboy ordered the kua-gai noodle which i have still never had. they are flat rice noodles and are also stir-fried but with ongion.
his smelled really good.
but i already know fly boy doesn't share his food so i didn't push.
but it did smell really good.
we also had cucumber salad.
and for our daughter?
we got her some corn cakes (with the cucumber sauce) and some steamed thai dumplings.
she loves dumplings but it was her 1st time with corn cakes. she ended up loving those as well.
what i love about thai, besides the taste, is that it fills you up as you're eating and an hour or so later you aren't hungry again.
if i had any kind of cooking talent, i'd want to cook thai.
but that's fine. we'd gone to the mainland today to pick out some gifts for t's kid who has a birthday tomorrow.
so tomorrow will be a kid's birthday party. we got her 2 gifts. my daughter picked out 1 gift (which is probably perfect) but i went ahead and went with barbie. for me it's the classic. i always wanted barbies and more barbies.
