that's Isaiah's The World Today Just Nuts "The Princess Is Flying The Plane!" and be sure you didn't miss Kat's "Kat's Korner: Tori's nocturnal prowl."
i had an e-mail asking how i knew the tom hanks & julia roberts film would flop. i wrote about that somewhere on this site. find it if you're interested in it.
how did i know?
1st what's the title?
i still can't remember it and i just read an e-mail naming it.
2nd tom hanks does not deserve julia roberts onscreen. she's way out of his league.
3rd if tom hanks is doing a comedy with a woman, america expects meg ryan.
4th julia roberts.
she's no meg ryan.
she's never been embraced that way.
this is tinkerhell.
she had to leave for several years to make america miss her back in the 90s (and forget her lousy reputation).
she's not that pretty, she's not that talented and she's never really worked well with any man except richard gere.
hugh grant came across to her, she didn't manage to return that on screen.
at her best times, julia was not a meg ryan.
and she's not been at her best since she won the oscar. she threw away her career then with crap like mona lisa's smile and bit parts in clooney films.
she bores america now.
that said, if she'd been in that film with hugh jackman or russell crowe, it would have done a lot better. and she should continue doing a film with russell crowe. he's 1 of the few actors that might bring some life out of her.
julia roberts is a very limited actress. in mary reilly, she demonstrated that.
the only way she's a hit is if we're scared for her (in the movie) or we want her to fall in love.
tom hanks getting julia roberts is a tv show, not a movie.
let's close with c.i.'s 'Iraq snapshot:'
