i want to leave abortion for a moment to show you something:
- We believe Jesus is God's unique and royal son, the image of the invisible God, the world's true Lord and Messiah, fully human and fully Divine. He was sent from the Father, in fulfillment of OT covenant promises and prophecies, to accomplish salvation for humanity and all creation by inaugurating God's kingdom and new creation through his exemplary and sinless life, his sacrificial and substitutionary death on the cross for sin, his resurrection from the dead, his ascension to the right hand of God, and the giving of the Spirit. He will fully and finally consummate salvation upon his imminent return.
they wouldn't consider something like that a trusted source, now would they?
oops they do!
from the comments to the article:
“It is a statistical fact that racist groups give to pro-choice groups to decrease the population of minorities.”
If it is a statistical fact, then I would like you to source those statistics.
dandelion salad wants you to know there is a source! is too!
that last one, abort73? that's where i found the quote about baby jesus, under their about us page.
i'm not in the mood for the garbage. dandelion salad is posting right-wing garbage that badly misrepresents feminism and needs to be taken down.
i really don't need these 'we never write about feminism but let us do it now to attack abortion' websites. their post is offensive.
abortion is free and legal.
and, hint to dandy salad, no feminist supports the 'matriarchy.' the point is to overthrow the patriarchy and replace it with the matriarchy that's male thinking and male fears. that's the whole either/or binary code. it's not feminism.
anais nin was a feminist. she supported abortions (and had at least 1). i'll put more faith in anais nin than in the cardboard figures that rocket and dandy salad trot out.
anais lived her life.
i don't buy all the arguments the out-of-power make. i understand that in fighting for something, they have to argue that it will allow all these wonderful things to happen - and they have to do that to garner support.
so, for example, were i fighting for women's right to vote, i might claim it would prevent a whole host of things that society was declaring 'evil.'
let's close with c.i.'s 'Iraq snapshot:'
