have you heard that? this is from politico:
Former Secretary of State and National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice may testify at a criminal trial later this month of an ex-Central Intelligence Agency officer accused of leaking highly classified information to New York Times reporter James Risen.
In a court filing Tuesday, prosecutors said they may call Rice to talk about a White House meeting she attended in 2003 where she and CIA Director George Tenet pleaded with Risen and then-Washington Bureau Chief of The New York Times Jill Abramson not to run a story about a CIA effort to use flawed blueprints to undermine Iran's nuclear program.
okay, i came up with tonight's theme topic.
how did i come up with it?
we had this box of cereal for over a month.
it's a smaller box than most cereals and it stuck out and it was getting on my nerves and i said, 'what the hell is this?' and while flyboy's walking over i'm pouring some out and, excuse me, we raised chickens when i was growing up.
it started out so sweet. my sisters and i wanted baby chicks and got them!
they were dyed pink or green.
and all but 1 of them (we had 5) died immediately after.
probably from that dye.
but we got more chickens. banty ones. those are smaller than normal.
and we had a barn. and they were in a horse stall but then got to have their own little chicken coop that my father built. and we would have fresh eggs.
but we had chores because they are living beings. so 1 of the chores was feeding them.
that never bothered me. i could stumble out of bed and rush right out and feed them and then come back and hop back into bed and go to sleep if it wasn't a school day.
but i'd toss the chicken feed around, scatter it for the chickens and pouring that cereal, it was like chicken feed.
it's grape nuts by the way.
i hate it.
i hate the smell of it, i hate the look of it.
but flyboy ended up getting it because he bought it here on the island. sometimes the local store we go to runs out stuff. especially at the end of august because all the vacationers are finally leaving. but he bought that because there were like 3 choices. and never again.
i hated it.
what i love best is oatmeal. i love better oats but i especially love quaker oats.
apples & cinamon is my favorite flavor of quaker oats but i also love strawberry and cream.
to me, oat meal's just the perfect breakfast.
it's good on a warm day and it's great on a cold day.
let's close with c.i.'s 'Iraq snapshot:'
