that's 'Isaiah's The World Today Just Nuts "The Whiner In Chief"'
i'm listening to a great new album. i wish i could tell you what it was but i can't. kat's going to review it. she called me today and asked me what i thought of ____. i like ____. she said that c.i. is playing the album on the road and she (kat) didn't know who it was or that it was a new album or anything. but she ended up learning pretty much all the songs in the last 2 weeks.
and c.i. was talking about something and said the name of the artist and kat was, 'that's who this is? when did this come out?'
it just came out. (i think today but it might have been last week.)
so she was raving and i went to amazon and downloaded it and love it. my daughter loves it too. 'dance, mommy, dance.' she says that when i play it. and we can't get it loud enough for her. she wants it louder and louder.
you did what you did
i'm glad i'm not a sinner baby
cause here's the twist
you are what you are
and i saw what i saw
that's your hint. don't google it tonight because it won't come up.
i checked. probably by friday the lyrics will be all over the net but right now googling them doesn't turn up anything. and the song title isn't in the lyrics above, fyi.
i love it when my daughter loves music. a) i love that she cares because i do. b) she dances so hard she tires herself out. i don't mind reading a story (or 2 or 3) to get her to sleep. but if she's been dancing, she's out by the stereo and i or flyboy will pick her up and carry her to her bed.
i always loved music, as far back as i can remember, but i don't know if i was like that. dancing and all before i was in school. grabbing my parents hands and pulling them over to get them to dance with me.
actually, i remember stripping.
i have no idea why.
why i stripped that is.
but i was probably 5. and for some reason 1 of my older sister's was playing like she was miss kitty and a cousin was playing like he was matt dillon. so i put some elvis song on the turntable and did a little strip to it. (i didn't strip naked.) (and it was more of a bump and grind.)
anyway, i'll call these rambles a post and get this up so flyboy and i can eat. he's waiting on me.
let's close with c.i.'s 'Iraq snapshot:'
