but we waited and waited and then she fell alseep and i was afraid she's be asleep when we got to the front of the line finally; however, she woke up right in time for it.
she was smiling big and it was a perfect moment.
then we went to toys r us and let her pick out some stuff for christmas.
we couldn't decide what to get her - we so couldn't decide that we had a loud argument. so we decided we'd take her to the toy store and let her pick out her toys herself.
which she did.
and then she and i went away because i told her that we left the cart in the store and if santa thought she had been good, then she'd get the toys.
i don't know how much sense that made but flyboy stayed with the basket, checked out and we stayed away from the car until the toys were all out of sight and packed away inside.
i can't believe the year just zoomed by.
seems like just a minute ago it was march and now it's decemember, last month of the year.
and 2011 looms in the very near future.
okay that's it. i have to go wrap that stuff now that our daughter's asleep.
tomorrow we're decorating the tree. we got a fresh 1 today and it looks so nice - i argue feeling very tired - that it doesn't really need decorations. but we will decorate it tomorrow.
let's close with c.i.'s 'Iraq snapshot:'
