i've seen that movie countless times and i never realized the judge was the dad from 'fraiser.' i knew he was in 'moonstruck' because i can remember when john mahoney tells olympia dukakis that men cheat because they fear death. but i did not realize he was also in 'suspect.' nor did i realize that he was nearly all bald before 'moonstruck' or 'fraiser.' so that was a nice toupe he wore.
see 'suspect' if you need back up to that.
in 'suspect,' cher plays an attorney. her client is a homelss man who is deaf and can't speak. he's accused of murder. cher's a public defender and has to prove he's innocent. he's played by liam neeson.
she has a juror who wants to help her. why?
that part of the movie never makes sense to me so i just tell myself that he helps her because she's cher. who wouldn't want to help cher.
this juror is played by dennis quaid. i think this is probably my favorite role of the 1s dennis quaid has played.
so in trying to find the murdered, they find a corrupt judicial system that goes back decades. i won't spoil it for you but it's a good movie. it's a thriller.
i love 'mask' and 'moonstruck' among others. and i think 'suspect' gets lost in the shuffle because those 2 films are just amazing. but 'suspect' is a good film.
and cher has another 1 coming out thanksgiving day, do not forget, 'burlesque.'
let's close with c.i.'s 'Iraq snapshot:'
