from last night, Isaiah's The World Today Just Nuts "He's Got That Vote Sewed Up."
how are you on news?
i'm find with the news elsewhere in the world and the crazy stuff out of d.c. but i do get a bit unhinged about news that physically could effect my daughter.
so food and toy recalls drive me nuts.
but i'm going insane over 1 topic. want to guess what it is?
elizabeth shogren reported on it today for npr's morning edition.
if you haven't used the link: bed bugs.
fly boy laughs at me about it. today the baby was getting bit and i was freaking out when flyboy points out the obvious: we were outside and it was a mosquito.
i've had our place cleaned - including the thermal heating - twice now.
we don't have bed bugs but i keep worrying that we do and that i won't know until i find all these bite marks on my little girl's belly.
this may be normal mother behavior but being a late-life 1, i just don't know. i was never this compulsive.
today on npr, the story included a dog that would go through rooms and, if he sat down, you had bedbugs.
the report wasn't even over when i was telling fly boy i was going to find out how to get that dog or 1 like it in our home.
and i can be told - and have been - that we don't have bed bugs but all that does i make me stop worrying for about 20 minutes tops.
then it's back to worrying.
let's close with c.i.'s 'Iraq snapshot:'
